Scholarship Youth Awards Night
The annual scholarship youth awards night took place in the lodge room on Monday, May 3.
Dinner was served to 100 students and their guests.
Steve Sarchett presented the Americanism essay awards, two of which took first place in the state. Two ROTC Cadet of the Year awards were also presented.
The keynote speaker was Larry G. Bergeson, Superintendent of Washington county school district. He shared future plans for our growing community.
Lastly, 24 scholarships totaling $28,700 were awarded to deserving students .
Thank you to the volunteers who served and cleaned up. Also to my committee and the LOE for making the room look beautiful. Our lodge can be proud of what we accomplished and the young lives we impacted.
